The morning of January 22 found the steam crew busy with the final pipes reconnected to the turret (located just ahead of the cab atop the engine) and the reinstallation of the engine's generator or "dynamo."
With a pair of crew members on the ground guiding the forklift, two more on the running board and Vice President Alex G. atop the boiler, the dynamo was carefully lowered into position and let everyone present know it had officially settled back into place with a loud "THUD."
